A delegation from the municipal bureau of commerce in Guiyang city, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, visited Shanghai-based enterprises in East China on March 16.
The visit aimed to attract investment and businesses from Shanghai to Guiyang and advance the city's commerce development.
The delegation was led by deputy director Tang Rong and visited Fujifilm Corp and Shanghai Amer Sports Co to seek cooperation opportunities.
Fujifilm Corp, a Japanese-funded enterprise that has developed its business in China for more than 50 years, mainly focuses on imaging, high-performance medical and health materials and file processing. Its tape storage materials, high-end printing and medical diagnosis technology have a very broad application scenario and market in Guiyang.
Shanghai Amer Sports Co owns 13 sports brands and its product categories cover tennis, badminton, golf, alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, skateboarding, fitness equipment, bicycles, trail-running equipment, hiking equipment and diving.
During the visit to Fujifilm Corp, Tang introduced Guiyang's basic development situation and welcomed Fujifilm Corp as an exhibitor to participate in the 2021 China International Big Data Industry Expo in Guiyang.
Representatives from Fujifilm Corp said that the company hopes to discuss cooperation opportunities with big data companies in Guiyang during the expo.
At the seminar with Shanghai Amer Sports Co, Tang welcomed the company's brands to enter Guiyang, which would broaden the company's market in Guiyang and add consumer brands in the city. She committed the best government services for Amer Sports to launch operations in the city. The two sides also exchanged views on the business environment and international competition cooperation.
