Guiyang's municipal bureau of commerce held a meeting on Feb 23 to collect opinions on foreign investment policies from foreign-funded enterprises in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The bureau earlier took the lead in drafting "Guiyang's Several Measures on Encouraging the Utilization of Foreign Investment (Draft for Solicitation of Comments)" and "Guiyang's Measures for Complaints and Handling of Foreign-invested Enterprises (Draft for Soliciting Opinions)" to further open up to the outside world, stabilize the scale of foreign investment, optimize the structure of foreign investment and improve the business environment in the city.
At the meeting, the bureau introduced the main content of the two documents.
Representatives of many foreign-funded companies present at the meeting offered suggestions for identifying key foreign-funded enterprises and projects. They also provided opinions on financial support based on their actual conditions.
Next, the bureau will carefully sort out these foreign-funded enterprises' opinions and suggestions to further improve policy documents and better serve local foreign-funded enterprises.
