19 Guiyang catering companies honored nationally

Nineteen catering companies in Guiyang were awarded the title of "National Diamond-level Restaurant" on Jan 19.

The rating of restaurants and hotels is an important measure taken by the Ministry of Commerce to promote the catering industry's development. The rating system is divided into six levels: one-diamond, two-diamond, three-diamond, four-diamond, five-diamond and platinum five-diamond levels.

The ranking scheme has a strong reputation and influence in the national catering industry. It plays a vital role in building distinctive catering brands and promoting the industry's prosperity and progress.

Since Guizhou province launched the national diamond-level restaurant and hotel evaluation, a total of 30 catering companies in the province have been selected as a National Diamond-level Restaurant, 29 of which are in the provincial capital, Guiyang. This year, nine enterprises in Guiyang were honored with the title of National Five-Diamond Restaurant. 

Guiyang has achieved remarkable results in brand building for catering companies, promoting the local catering industry's healthy development and boosting mid-to-high-end consumption, among other achievements.
