Guiyang delegation attends Chongqing logistics expo

The Guiyang branch of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) recently organized development zones and logistics companies in Guiyang city -- capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- to attend the 2020 Chongqing Western China International Logistics Industry Expo, which was held in Chongqing in Southwest China on Nov 25-27.

This move aimed to boost domestic and foreign economic and trade exchanges and business. It also aimed to learn from the experience and practices of the CCPIT Chongqing branch on how to organize international economic and trade events, as well as increase mutual exchanges and expand cooperation with Chongqing.

Eight logistics companies from Guiyang participated in the opening ceremony, seven summits and sub-forums at the expo and visited Chongqing Western Modern Logistics Park and the Guoyuan Port International Logistics Hub. 

The CCPIT Guiyang branch carried out discussions on further exchanges and cooperation with CCPIT Chongqing branch, Chongqing Office of the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce and the British Consulate in Chongqing. 

The expo was jointly sponsored by Chongqing Chamber of Commerce of China Chamber of International Commerce, China Association of Warehousing and Distribution and China International Freight Forwarders Association.

It aimed to give full play to Chongqing's important role in the coordinated development of Southwest China and its opening-up to the outside world, and to help accelerate the construction of international inland logistics hubs and ports.
