A delegation from the Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce -- led by deputy director Tang Rong -- visited Wenzhou city in East China's Zhejiang province on Nov 17.
The delegation inspected Wenzhou's Global Commodity Trading Hub, one of the key import platforms in Zhejiang province. The hub, located in the city's Ouhai district, is a complex for the distribution of imported goods, involving over 100 agency brands and some 30,000 commodities from more than 40 countries in Europe, America and Asia.
Afterwards, the delegation attended a seminar at the overseas Chinese affairs office and the Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese in Wenzhou's Lucheng district. There, delegates held talks to form a partnership to develop a cross-border e-commerce project in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Delegation leader Tang Rong said that the Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce would focus on the construction of a western import commodity exhibition center in Guiyang, enlarging and strengthening cross-border e-commerce and helping to introduce more international products into the Guiyang market.
