Guiyang establishes commercial offices in Kenya, Japan

Guiyang city -- capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- recently established representative offices for the Guiyang branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) in the Republic of Kenya and Japan.

The move was to effectively promote the city's foreign relations and expand its commerce abroad.

The two representative offices are expected to increase ties between Guiyang and government departments, trade associations and enterprises in Kenya and East Africa and also in Japan.

They are also expected to improve relations with the two countries in commerce and trade, talent communication and exchanges, technological innovation and cultural tourism.
