The Guiyang bureau of commerce, together with Guizhou branch of State Administration of Foreign Exchange, Guiyang Customs and Guiyang tax bureau, recently carried out special investigations.
These were undertaken to understand the actual operating conditions of foreign trading enterprises in Guiyang city, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, listen to their opinions and suggestions, and to provide improved services for the businesses.
Tang Rong, deputy director of Guiyang bureau of commerce, led the government delegation and visited four enterprises on Sept 18.
The companies were Guizhou Degangkou Trading Co, Guizhou Keshunjie Trading Co, Guizhou Huashite Trading Co and Guizhou Laishige Trading Co.
The officials listened to reports on the operations of each enterprise and learned about export source procurements and export sales channels.
They also learned about actual foreign exchange receipts and payments, as well as the export tax rebates of businesses, providing on-site answers to questions on policies raised by the firms.
Tang explained the latest national, provincial, and municipal policies to the enterprises.
She hoped the enterprises would continue to grow bigger and stronger on the basis of regular operations and achieve healthy and sustainable development.
Tang said that government departments would continue to offer services to help enterprises resolve their difficulties and would give priority to helping with the follow-up development of the businesses.
