Guiyang signs eight projects in CIFTIS

Guiyang city, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, saw contracts for eight joint projects signed during the annual China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) held in the national capital Beijing on June 4-9. 

The projects covered big data services, software development and photovoltaic engineering designs and the contracts involved companies from countries and regions including United States, Argentina and Hong Kong.

The Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce organized 11 representative enterprises in Guiyang city and Guian New Area to attend CIFTIS, which was held both online and offline.

Participants included Hankaisi Intelligent Technology Co, Guizhou Baishan Cloud Technology Co and Guiyang Engineering Corporation. The companies were encouraged to explore domestic and foreign markets and build communications platforms between enterprises, by carrying out exhibition and promotions during the event.

On Sept 6 -- the Guizhou theme day at CIFTIS -- the Guizhou Trade in Services Innovation Development Conference was held in Beijing. More than 150 people, including important domestic and foreign exhibitors, as well as representatives of companies from Guizhou province, participated in the conference. 

Ran Bin, vice-mayor of Guiyang, attended and made a presentation on the theme of trade in services and investment promotions in Guiyang.

Ran said that Guiyang was committed to promoting the innovative development of trade in services, expanding the scale and quality of its digital trade.

Guiyang's digital industrialization and industrial digitization processes have accelerated significantly and big data has become a powerful engine, leading the high-quality socioeconomic development of the city.
