Liu Lisha, the director of the Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce, went to the Guiyang Free Trade Zone on March 10 -- located in the capital of China's Southwest Guizhou province -- to investigate its management of international trade and commerce and foreign investment as well as the services trade, according local Guiyang FTZ officials.
Liu inspected key projects, visited key enterprises and held business seminars. She examined the progress of work, development expectations and the main difficulties and problems faced by the Guiyang FTZ.
She said that the commerce bureau next plans to strengthen its policy support and its blueprints to help the rapid development of the zone.
The bureau will now call on the local government to open fast track channels for returning employees to get to the Guiyang FTZ, to take nucleic acid tests and lung CT scans, to help them return to work as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, the bureau will make full use of policies and measures to solve problems including difficulties in corporate financing, poor logistics and supply chains -- and help the Guiyang FTZ to boost imports and exports in the processing trade.
The bureau will also strongly support the integrated development of the Guiyang FTZ and Gui'an FTZ to give full play to their respective policies, systems, channels and land resources.
It will improve the efficiency of the special funds for cross-border e-commerce support and strengthen the promotion of key projects related to the Guiyang FTZ.
Additionally, the Guiyang commerce bureau will streamline and improve policy and information interactions with the Guiyang FTZ.
This will aim to form an effective link with and promote the smooth implementation of local key projects and the operations of local key enterprises.
