The Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce has expanded its efforts to provide protective materials for enterprises to restart their production in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, according to local officials.
As of Feb 17, the bureau had coordinated a total of 330,995 face masks, 1,350 bottles of disinfectant, 1,250 bottles of alcohol and distributed them to shopping malls, supermarkets, agricultural wholesale markets and gas stations operating during the epidemic.
Meanwhile, the bureau formulated management measures and implemented a system of approvals and promotions to guide and supervise the distribution of protective materials.
The commerce bureau applied to the Guiyang municipal government again to coordinate the allocation of 100,000 masks, 500 thermometers, 200 bottles of disinfectant and 200 bottles of alcohol for the resumption of work on Feb 17, which is currently pending approval.
