The Guiyang municipal bureau of commerce has adopted a series of measures to help companies restart their production in the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, according to local officials.
The bureau took its cue from policy documents -- and through its WeChat public account and online training is moving to ensure businesses are familiar with the procedures for a resumption of work.
Officials said that they have organized production and materials procurements -- and arranged special vehicles and routes for personnel responsible for transportation -- to solve the logistics problems in sourcing the raw materials that companies need to restore output.
The commerce bureau has also helped lay on special buses and bus routes to solve the commuting problems of workers in the local development area and the area for foreign-funded companies.
Meanwhile, a non-contact box lunch distribution service has been carried out to supply employees with meals.
Additionally, the bureau has helped provide protective materials for company staff during the coronavirus outbreak.
Bureau officials said they were also doing a lot to help foreign-funded enterprises get back to work.
The bureau has rolled out policies for expanding foreign capital utilization in Guiyang and planned a series of major economic and trade promotion activities, to minimize the impact of the epidemic on foreign investments.
As of Feb 18, 96 enterprises had resumed operations in Guiyang, accounting for 48.98 percent of normal operating levels of foreign-funded businesses in the city.
