Used car assembly held in Guiyang

The 2019 China Used Car Assembly was held in the Guiyang International Eco-conference Center on July 18.

The event attracted about 2,000 representatives from the used car industry, relevant authorities, market dealers, e-commerce platforms, financial institutions and service providers.

Officials from the Guizhou Provincial Department of Commerce and Guiyang Municipal Government were present.

The event was composed of one main forum, 8 sub-forums, and 1 skill competition.

At the event, experts provided in-depth interpretation of the regulatory policies, development models, market demands, business models and eco-system development in the used car industry.

Relevant topics, such as application of internet technology, new pattern of capital investment, new thinking of used car financing, and emerging trends in domestic used car markets were discussed at the forum.

With a special focus on innovative presentation of content, a debate on the most relevant issues was arranged. Chaired by Deputy Secretary-General of the China Automobile Dealers Association Luo Lei, participants discussed the topic “to transform or not”.

The claim team included Senior Vice-president of 58 Group Cong Lin, President of Guangdong China Automobile Inspection Service Consulting Co Ltd Wang Xudong, and senior industrial expert Li Kaimin.

The counterclaim team included the operation director of Shenyang Haoche Zhima Tech Co Ltd Yang Juefei, manager of used car marketing at SAIC General Motors Co Ltd, and Shen Wenjun, general manager of Beijing Cheyide Automobile Sales Co Ltd. Heated debate on this issue was much welcomed by the audience. 

In addition, a platform for used car resources across China was set up.

From July 16 to 19, Hepeng Used Car Market in Huaxi District hosted an exhibition of assured used cars and a trade-in festival, where 8,000 used cars and 200 new cars were shown and four auctions were held. It was a great celebration of car culture for the city residents and the used car industry.
