Tianhetan

Known as one of Guizhou's most spectacular karst attractions, Tianhetan is a scenic destination where mountains, rivers, caves, pools and waterfalls come together in a spectacular natural landscape. Its name comes from a natural stone bridge spanning an underground cave river, creating the unique landscape that has fascinated visitors for generations.

The scenic area features an extensive network of limestone caves, with tranquil water caves, magnificent dry caves and cascading waterfalls showcasing the beauty of Guizhou's karst geology. Recognized as a National 4A Tourist Attraction and one of Guizhou's Top 10 Charming Scenic Areas, Tianhetan offers an unforgettable journey through one of Southwest China's most distinctive natural landscapes.

Visitor tips:

· Location: Shiban town, Huaxi district, Guiyang

· Transportation:

Take Guiyang Rail Transit Line S1 to Tianhetan Station and walk about 500 meters from Exit A1

Take bus routes 701, 711, 211, 706 or the Huaxi–Tianhetan tourist line, followed by a 4–8-minute walk

· Opening hours:

Nov 1–Feb 28: 9 am–5 pm (last admission at 4:30 pm)

Mar 1–Oct 31: 8:30 am–6 pm (last admission at 4:30 pm)

· Admission:

Adults: 75 yuan ($11.07)

Free for children, students and visitors aged 65 and above

· Recommended visit: 3–4 hours
