Symphony Orchestra has completed its first European tour, having performed in Slovenia, Austria, and Italy from Aug 25 to 29. The ensemble appeared at four major festivals, presenting concerts that highlighted music as a bridge for cultural exchanges.
The tour began at the Slovenian Philharmonic Hall, continued with the Carinthian Summer Concert in Austria, and proceeded to Italy's Festival of Nations in Castello before concluding at the Emilia-Romagna Festival.
To mark the occasion, the orchestra distributed 2,000 brochures introducing the ensemble and its concert season. Audiences also received a special gift: a 1.2-meter handscroll titled "Panorama of Guizhou", created by Guizhou children. The scroll depicted tea-picking girls, Miao embroidery, batik crafts, and the Anshun Dixi opera, offering European audiences a glimpse into the region's unique cultural heritage.
