On Nov 11, the edible mushroom production project by Guizhou Pinpinxian Biotechnology Co, which was attracted by Huaxi district's investment initiatives, officially began operations in Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
Located in the Digital Agriculture Industrial Park in Yanlou town, Huaxi, Guizhou Pinpinxian was established in September of this year and is operated in partnership with Guiyang Huaxi Urban Construction Investment Development Co. Parent company Jiangsu Pinpinxian Biotechnology Co has production bases in Jiangsu, Henan, and Anhui provinces, all producing mushrooms. The first phase of the Guizhou project has been completed, producing over 80 metric tons of fresh mushrooms daily, with an expected annual output of 30,000 tons.
"The market value of Pinpinxian's products has increased significantly over the past few years. The project in Huaxi features a newer, more advanced production line, and I believe it has a promising future," said Cheng Jingsong, Yunnan province general agent of Pinpinxian.
Chen Changmao, chairman of Guizhou Pinpinxian, emphasized that the swift commissioning of the project was made possible by Huaxi's full support and tailored services. He expressed hope that the company will attract more businesses to invest in Huaxi.
In recent years, Huaxi district has prioritized projects as being central to its development, and continued to improve its business environment, thus accelerating the construction and operation of projects. Notably, the Pinpinxian mushroom production project took only two months from initial discussions to operation, marking a significant step forward for Huaxi in its efforts to promote modern, specialized, and efficient agriculture.
