Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, reported a GDP of 63.49 billion yuan ($8.93 billion) in the first three quarters of 2024, up 6.2 percent from the same period of last year.
Primary industries grew by 1.64 billion yuan, a 3.9 percent increase; secondary industries increased by 33.78 billion yuan, a 6.6 percent increase; and tertiary industries by 28.07 billion yuan, a 5.5 percent increase. The added value of the three industries contributed 2.58 percent, 53.21 percent, and 44.21 percent to the total GDP, respectively.
