New semester kicks off in Huaxi

Primary and secondary schools in Huaxi district, Guiyang, officially began their first day of the new semester on Sept 2. To ensure a smooth start for the students, schools carefully planned ahead, launching the new school year with a series of meaningful activities.  

Incoming kindergarteners, accompanied by their parents, participated in a unique welcome ceremony. Activities such as drawing "good luck cards" and crossing "blessing hurdles" filled them with laughter and joy ahead of the new term.

At Huaxi Ethnic Primary School, new students arrived with a thirst for knowledge and ambitious dreams for the future. They walked down the red carpet, passed by signs promoting good conduct, and stepped through colorful balloon arches, officially beginning their elementary school journey.  

Qingyan Kindergarten held a parent meeting to introduce the school's programs, curriculum design, and the importance of parental involvement, helping ease their concerns and fostering a strong relationship between families and the school.
