The "2024 Huaxi's Summer – Summer Retreats Season Cultural and Tourism Promotion Event" was held on July 27 in Huaxi Park, marking the official launch of the two-month summer retreat season of Huaxi district.
In her speech, Jiang Fangju, deputy secretary of the Party committee of Huaxi district and head of the Huaxi District People's Government, noted that today's Huaxi is becoming a coveted home of happiness, a garden for sightseeing and vacations, and a rural paradise full of nostalgic charm. She cordially invited everyone to explore Huaxi during this summer resort season.
The district will provide tourism enterprises with broader development opportunities and offer tourists better services in an effort to welcome people from all over the country to visit Huaxi for sightseeing, investment, and business, to share in the benefits of cultural and tourism development, and to create a better future together.
The promotional event highlights classic Chinese culture, intangible cultural heritage, outdoor challenges, sports competitions, music, and nightlife through three chapters: "Huaxi is Very City", "Huaxi is Very Chill", and "Huaxi is Very Fashion", fully showcasing Huaxi's advantages in summer leisure, camping, specialty cuisine, folk culture, wellness vacations, trendy play, and roadside concerts.
During the event, young Chinese tenor and national first-class actor Mu Weiping, dean of the School of Music at Guizhou University, performed the song "Xingfu Gejia".
An accordion quartet by four students from the Music College, Shanghai Normal University, along with a series of rich performances such as double keyboard solos, guitar playing and singing, and street dancing, were performed, bringing the event to multiple climaxes. The graffiti sign-in wall and themed market also showcased Huaxi's diverse cultural and tourism appeal.
