The first batch of "Old-for-New" commercial housing projects in Guiyang successfully signed contracts in the city's Huaxi district on July 22. The total area of the newly purchased houses is 228.5 square meters, with a total purchase price of approximately 2 million yuan ($274,800).
The buyers stated that the "Old-for-New" policy has made second-hand housing transactions quicker and easier, making it more convenient for them to sell their old houses and buy new ones.
The two new houses for which contracts were recently signed are located in central areas in Huaxi district, allowing the buyers to enjoy a more comfortable and convenient living environment.
To date, 135 residents in Huaxi have applied to participate in the "Old-for-New" policy. A responsible official from Huaxi stated that Huaxi will use the successful signing of agreements for the first batch of "Old-for-New" projects as an opportunity to address bottlenecks in the housing development and bank financing processes, and fully leverage national, provincial, and municipal real estate policies to help residents sell their old houses and buy new ones, thereby promoting investment and consumption and better meeting residents' basic need for improved housing.
