The China Railway Xishan International Tourist Resort and the Tianhetan Tourist Resort – located in the Huaxi district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – caused a stir of interest when visitors participated in the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair on May 23-27.
A cultural, tourism and wellness project meticulously developed by China Railway Guiyang Company, the China Railway Xishan resort attracted significant attention from both domestic and international audiences with its special charm and innovative concepts.
At this year's event, China Railway Xishan not only showcased its rich tourism resources and distinctive wellness concepts, but also launched several new wellness tourism routes.
These routes are said to perfectly combine Guizhou's natural beauty with wellness concepts, offering visitors new ways to travel and experience things.
The Tianhetan resort – as a national 4A-level tourist attraction – boasts interconnected mountains and waters, with waterfalls, karst caves, tranquil pools and gorges, offering highly attractive natural tourism resources. It's been dubbed the "miniature bonsai of Guizhou's landscapes".
What's more, the scenic area features exciting folk experiences, water shows that combine modern technology with water culture and dazzling fireworks shows – all fully showcasing the scenic beauty of Guizhou and its ethnic and folk culture.
Additionally, Tianhetan promoted itself at the fair through appealing products such as notebooks, water cups, cloth bags and cross-body bags.
These items were reportedly well-received by visitors and attracted exhibitors and guests who stopped by to learn more. Many said they would definitely visit Guiyang and Tianhetan if given the opportunity.
