Huaxi sewage treatment enhancement project in full swing

In order to enhance the efficiency of sewage treatment systems and improve the urban water environment, Huaxi district in Guiyang implemented a sewage treatment enhancement project last year. Currently, the project is progressing in an orderly manner.

The project is divided into two phases. The first phase has a wide scope, including more than 10 areas such as Yangniu Ditch, Luoping Ditch, Xujiachong Ditch, and the interception ditches on both sides of the Huaxi River.

These areas are undergoing rainwater and sewage diversion, pipeline repairs, and the construction of new rainwater and sewage mains and branches. Approximately 15,998 cubic meters of sediment will be dredged, and about 101 kilometers of pipelines will be repaired.

The second phase focuses on the central urban areas of Huaxi, including Mengxi Road, Guizhu Road, Yingbin Road, Xibei Road, Zhulin village, Mengguan Township Auto Parts City, Qingyan town, and Yanlou town. New rainwater and sewage mains and branches will be constructed, approximately 6,356 cubic meters of sediment will be dredged, and about 120 kilometers of pipelines will be repaired.

So far, Huaxi has completed the construction of approximately 40.1 kilometers of new sewage pipelines in Shiban town, Mengguan township, the district's central urban area, Qingyan town, and Yanlou town.

Additionally, about 43.5 kilometers of rainwater and sewage pipeline repairs have been completed, along with the construction of about 1.42 kilometers of new rainwater pipelines and five related pumping stations.
