To celebrate the approaching Chinese New Year, Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has organized an array of festivities, helping get people into the holiday spirit and offering a great way to spend the holiday.
A total of 109 events will be held, including fireworks shows, garden fairs, concerts in caves and snow-covered lawns, a Spring Festival Carnival full of traditional activities, a dragon dance, lantern exhibitions, a painting exhibition and spring couplet-writing.
