The Raorao Scenic Spot became a national AAA-level tourist attraction in January 2019. It is located in northwest of Gaopo Miao ethnic township in Huaxi district, Guiyang.
With a planned area of 83 hectares, the Raorao Scenic Spot is divided into five core sections: a comprehensive service area, a rural scenery area, a folklore vitality area, an outdoor leisure area, and a holiday resort area.
The Raorao Scenic Spot is an attraction that integrates pastoral scenery, ethnic customs, military relics, and gorge landscapes. It consists of attractions such as terraces, colorful pools, ancient wells, villages, and Hongyan Gorge.
Seasonal Activities:
The scenic spot plans celebrations and activities that match the atmosphere of various festivals and holidays (such as May Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day). From July to October, a variety of activities are planned for different customer groups. In July and August, an annual Starry Tent Festival is planned.
