Shimen Jinxiu Tianyuan Scenic Spot is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and an important part of the "Ten Pictures of Xinan" cultural and tourism sightseeing belt. It occupies an area of about 20.73 hectares and has an average altitude of about 1400 meters.

The scenic spot is divided into two main areas: Shimen Welcoming Area and Dahong Flower Sea Area. It shares beautiful scenery such as Luo Xia Gou, Hongyan Gorge, terraced fields, forests, and villages with another nearby scenic spot.

The scenic spot contains villages and terraced fields built during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and rare Ming Dynasty cliff carvings which are protected at the city level. The nearly 2-kilometer-long Long March Trail, crossing through the scenic spot, records the military achievements of the Red Army coming to Guiyang.

The cultural relics in the scenic spot have a long history and are closely related to major events such as peasant uprisings and the Long March. They are highly valuable historically, culturally, scientifically, and artistically.

So far, the scenic spot has developed into a comprehensive service-oriented tourist attraction that integrates scenic sightseeing, agricultural experience, science popularization, and mountain sports, and is open to visitors all year round.

Seasonal activities:

The scenic spot plans seasonal events for a number of occasions (such as May Day, Dragon Boat Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day). Monthly activities are planned based on different customer groups. During August and September, the scenic spot will organize long table banquet activities.
