New university campus to be put into use in Huaxi

The first phase of the expansion of the Huaxi Campus of the Guizhou University of Finance and Economics project is expected to be completed and put into use before the end of June. 

The first phase of the project is located on the east side of the original campus of Guizhou University of Finance and Economics in Huaxi University Town. It involves 16 classrooms, dormitories, and a library, with a total construction area of 134,500 square meters, and 9 kilometers of roads. 

It's an important project to develop and improve higher education in Guizhou, and is expected to meet the teaching and living needs of 6,500 people when completed, said Xie Bigao, quality manager of the project. 

Up to now, the acceptance of the foundation for the first phase of the project has been completed, and the construction of the main structure is advancing.
