Concert on movie music held in Huaxi

The Guiyang Symphony Orchestra held a movie-themed symphony concert in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Dec 23.

The concert was held by the Guiyang bureau of culture and tourism and the management committee of Huaxi Culture and Tourism Innovation Zone. 

During the nearly two-hour performance, musicians from the Guiyang Symphony Orchestra played music from movies familiar to the audience, such as The Sound of Music, Schindler's List, and Star Wars. 

"This performance was non-profit and the concert was a promotional activity for winter tourism in Huaxi to attract more visitors," said Sheng Wenqiang, deputy director of the Guiyang Symphony Orchestra.
