Reconstructed road opens to traffic in Huaxi

The main section of the reconstruction project of Jiaxiu South Road-Huatong North Road opened to traffic in Huaxi district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Nov 17.

The total length of the main line is 1,477.64 meters and includes a frame bridge that passes through Guizhu Road, a frame bridge that passes over Huaxi Lake, two pedestrian underpasses and related supporting facilities.

The completion of the project has effectively alleviated the long-standing traffic congestion problem between Jiaxiu South Road and Guizhu Road and connected the urban area of Huaxi and Huaxi University Town.
