Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has arranged six 24-hour convenient COVID-19 nucleic acid sampling sites for the benefit of locals.

The nucleic acid sampling sites are located in Ruihua Health Service Center, Guiyang Guihang 300 Hospital, Huaxi District People's Hospital, Guizhou Provincial Staff Hospital, Huaxi District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and Huaxi University Town Sub-district Hospital.

"Our hospital can perform 2,000 to 3,000 nucleic acid tests a day, and the samples for which are then sent out for nucleic acid collection. It takes 6 or 7 hours to produce results, and it is more convenient for those who need to go out in an emergency," said Zhang Qian, head of the sampling site at Guiyang Guihang 300 Hospital.

In addition, the hospital sampling sites have also adjusted the operating hours of sampling windows according to the change in the number of staff members, which has reduced the amount of people gathering and improved sampling efficiency.
