Huaxi, Guizhou University cooperate in zoology

The authority in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, signed a cooperation agreement with Guizhou University on Aug 17.

At the signing ceremony, the district government and Guizhou University, as well as Huaxi Agricultural Development Investment Group Co and the College of Zoology at Guizhou University, inked cooperation and project implementation agreements.

The joint project involves the construction of Guizhou University's animal hospital.

According to the agreement, Huaxi Agricultural Development Investment Group Co is responsible for the daily operation of the animal hospital and will provide a platform for experiments, training and social services for students majoring in animal medicine at Guizhou University. Guizhou University is responsible for related technical work at the animal hospital and will participate in the layout planning and design of the hospital.

Guizhou University is a talent and cultural hub in Guizhou. It brings together all kinds of talent needed for economic and social development. It is highly consistent with the strategy of Huaxi district's innovation and development, and the two sides have broad prospects for cooperation.

The two sides will discuss cooperation in basic education, intelligent manufacturing, the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, and personnel training to promote the commercialization of the university's scientific research achievements and the high-quality development of the local economy.
