Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, has been building a new industrial system led by the electronic information manufacturing industry and featuring an organic special food industry.

In the first quarter of 2022, Huaxi had 809 million yuan ($122.44 million) of funds for the newly introduced industrial projects and signed four investment cooperation agreements concerning the electronic information manufacturing sector with a total investment of 1.85 billion yuan.

In the Yanlou Industrial Park, the district carried out investment promotions targeting upstream and downstream enterprises in the electronic information manufacturing industry, including printed circuit boards, chip packaging and testing, automotive electronics, and smart terminals, and prepared for the transfer of the electronic information manufacturing industry so as to build a related industry cluster with an annual output value of 10 billion yuan to lead the development of electronic information manufacturing in Guiyang.

Relying on local ecological and agricultural resources, Huaxi has accelerated the introduction and implementation of special food projects and made use of the special food industry base in the Yanlou Industrial Park to develop a cluster for the organic special food industry.

The district is negotiating with 20 companies on the construction of related industrial projects.

Next, Huaxi plans to sign agreements for four projects concerning the electronic information manufacturing, energy conservation and environmental protection sectors. The four projects, with about 280 million yuan in total investment, are expected to bring in around 650 million yuan in annual output value and generate about 20 million yuan in annual taxes.
