An agreement to establish a high-powered science and technology manufacturing plant and corporate headquarters was signed on March 1 in the Huaxi district of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
The project will be located in the district's Yanou industrial park and will be funded by owner and operator Guoke Saisi (Beijing) Tech Co. The facility – costing 300 million yuan ($47.37 million) – will involve construction of the firm's headquarters, R&D center, production lines and test platforms.
Once completed, the complex is expected to generate annual output of 500 million yuan.
Founded in 2015, Guoke Saisi (Beijing) Tech Co is a State-level high-tech firm incubated by the Chinese Academy of Sciences – specializing in new semiconductor device research and intelligent testing technologies and services.
Xu Junsong, Party secretary of the district, delivered a keynote speech calling for the parties to coordinate their efforts to speed up the project's construction.
Xu also pledged optimized and efficient services for the company and said he hoped that it would attract more businesses to the district.
