A celebration of the Lantern Festival was held in Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Feb 15.
The event included a fair for intangible cultural heritage items, cultural experience activities, solving lantern riddles and artistic performances.
The on-site intangible cultural heritage fair displayed embroidery of the Miao ethnic group, dyeing and embroidery of the Bouyei ethnic group, silver jewelry production, rose candy production, Zhaosi Tea for tributes, and Qingyan Shuanghua vinegar, allowing visitors to enjoy the exquisite handicrafts while tasting local specialties.
The traditional Lantern Festival, celebrated on the 15th day of the first month of the Chinese lunar calendar, fell on Feb 15 this year and is an important time for family reunions.
