Chinese painting exhibition staged in Huaxi

The 2021 Chinese Flower and Bird Painting Academic Exchange Exhibition of Guiyang Art Museum kicked off in Banqiao Art Village in Huaxi district of Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Jan 20.

The event was hosted by the Guiyang Federation of Literary and Art Circles and the Management Committee of the Huaxi Cultural Tourism Innovation Zone.

The exhibition is being held in two phases, with the first one that ran from Jan 20 to 23 and the second opening on Feb 4 and running through to Feb 13. 

The expo features 35 flowers and birds paintings by leading artists in and outside the province.
