Huaxi sets goals for 2022 socioeconomic development

Huaxi district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, will further improve local social and economic development this year, according to the 2022 government work report recently released by local authorities. 

The district will focus on eight aspects, including new industrialization, urbanization, reform and opening-up, environmental protection and social welfare. 

In terms of the economy, Huaxi aims to realize year-on-year growth of 9 percent in gross domestic product, 11 percent in industrial added value above designated size, 10 percent in fixed assets investment, 8.5 percent in total retail sales of social consumer goods, and 2 percent in general public budget revenue. 

The district will make efforts to improve the income of urban and rural residents, with annual growth goals of 10 percent and 12 percent in per capita disposable income, respectively.
