Huaxi district acts to boost business environment

Huaxi district of Guiyang – capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province – has reportedly issued a raft of measures, designed to improve and optimize the business environment and offer high-quality services to resident companies.

It has hired 10 voluntary supervisors, 20 inspectors, and 20 commentators to supervise, inquire about and review the business environment of the district.

Having established a real estate pilot project, the district is understood to be exploring customized services for the sector. It has launched measures and guidelines to shorten the approvals time for projects, reduce materials, and optimize its overall services.

The district has also streamlined its work procedures, integrating approvals for real estate registration with household registrations and water, electricity and natural gas ownership transfers, to offer a one-stop service to the public.

In addition, the district has designated a number of departments to be responsible for key enterprises and key projects – as well as established a tiered accountability system for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises – and followed up all enterprises in the district, to ensure their difficulties are tackled and resolved.
