Guiyang Huaxi Cunzhi School starts operating

The inauguration ceremony of the Guiyang Huaxi Cunzhi School of Cunzhi School affiliated to Tongji University was held at the sales center of Country Garden Impression Huaxi, a housing estate in Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 21.

At the inauguration ceremony, people had to undergo epidemic surveillance and sign in before entering the site. The ceremony started with a poem recital by children wearing traditional student dresses.

Liu Zhanlin, president of Guiyang Huaxi Cunzhi School, delivered a speech at the event, saying that the school's unveiling was a major event in the history of the brand development of Cunzhi School Group. It was a careful investigation by the group into Huaxi district after years of exploration and development.

The school will focus on the lifelong development of its students rather than on achievements and honors obtained at school, Liu added.

Wei Yuezong, general manager of Country Garden Impression Huaxi, said that he hopes Guiyang Huaxi Cunzhi School will bring high-quality educational resources in Shanghai to the owners of the housing estate and Guiyang.

It is also hoped that relying on the high-quality educational resources of Tongji University will allow the school to be built into an educational model in Huaxi and Guiyang with high-quality educational standards that cultivates more talent for the country, Wei added.

After the inauguration ceremony, the participants also visited the school. They praised the school's facilities and teaching support and said they have high expectations for the future development of the school.

The school will officially open in September this year. Third grade of junior high school has already started, and various educational and teaching activities are proceeding in an orderly manner.
