On April 14, at the vaccination site of Guizhu Sub-district Health Center in Huaxi district, Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, citizens who came for the COVID-19 vaccination lined up in an orderly manner to undergo pre-inspection, registration and vaccination.
At present, Huaxi district has completed 70,000 vaccine doses.
Ding Miao, an attending physician from Huaxi's center for disease control, discussed possible adverse reactions after vaccination.

"Common local adverse reactions are swelling and pain at the inoculation site. Common general systemic adverse reactions are a low-grade fever, not exceeding 38.5 C, as well as fatigue and weakness. These do not require special treatment," said Ding. "However, if people experience obvious discomfort after vaccination, it is recommended that they visit a general hospital to be checked."
To speed up the construction of the immune barrier and effectively protect the lives and health of people, Huaxi district will actively promote its vaccination campaign to provide the public with more convenient and high-quality vaccination services.
