Huaxi's scenic area honored among top stargazing destinations

The Yunding Anye Mushu Scenic Spot in Gaopo township in Huaxi district, Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, recently made the 2021 list of the most beautiful stargazing places released by Pinchain Travel, an online tourism consultancy.

The selection process lasted for two months included application recommendation, online voting and expert review. All told, 10 scenic spots made the list.

With an average elevation of 1,612 meters, Yunding Anye Mushu Scenic Spot is at 26 degrees north latitude. The scenic spot is surrounded by beautiful mountains and far away from light pollution, making it an excellent place to enjoy morning and evening twilight.

The scenic spot started its ecological restoration work in October 2020, and the project is currently proceeding in an orderly manner.

Huaxi district, which is rich in tourism resources, has been promoting the construction of Mushu Anye Park, which integrates star and cloud gazing experiences, mountain sports and leisure vacations.
