In Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, Huaxi district inked a strategic cooperation agreement with Guizhou Micro-Film Federation on Feb 2 to contribute to local cultural and tourism development.
Four local scenic spots – Qingyan Ancient Town, Gaopo village, Banqiao Art Village and Yelang Valley – were selected as the federation's location shooting bases.
This visit to Huaxi was the federation's first film salon activity. A delegation of 20 members went to local scenic spots such as Gaopo village, featuring a beautiful landscape, and Banqiao Art Village, which features the integration of modern crafts and traditional culture, to better understand local culture and tourism resources.
Both the federation and Huaxi district are keen to cooperate and brainstorm ways to combine the district's cultural and tourism resources with film creation.
Huaxi's publicity authority said that they welcome the federation members to shoot and create films in the district and would like to promote Huaxi through film and television works.
