A Spring Festival celebration highlighting customs from the Bouyei ethnic group was held on Jan 29 in Longjing village, Qingyan town, Huaxi district in Guiyang, the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
During the event, villagers organized various activities to showcase Bouyei ethnic customs, including bamboo pole dancing, singing folk duets, making glutinous rice cakes and tasting Lanmen wine.

Longjing village is a traditional village where ethnic groups gather. The Bouyei population accounts for 98 percent of the village's total population.
With a history of 500 years, the village is surrounded by mountains and rivers, and its forest coverage rate is 70 percent.

In recent years, Longjing village has expanded and strengthened rural tourism development and tried to create the rural tourism village. It has gradually explored a rural tourism model featuring cultural tourism as its core.
