The people's government of Huaxi district -- in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province -- signed a framework agreement on agricultural industry development with Guizhou Vegetables Group on Dec 10, which will lead to major changes in the sector.
Guizhou Vegetables Group will integrate all the chives, peppers, cucumbers, cowpeas, cabbage and other products produced by all commercial vegetable bases in Huaxi into the group's sales system, both inside and outside the province.

The group will also give guidance on field management and provide marketing assistance for Huaxi's vegetables planted this winter -- as well as on the seedlings and sowing of single products planted in winter and spring next year, so as to improve the overall standards of local vegetable producers.
This will expand the organization, scale, standardization and marketization of the vegetable industry in Huaxi, while helping with poverty alleviation and rural revitalization.
Yuan Li, deputy head of Huaxi district, said with the support of Guizhou Vegetables Group, Huaxi's agricultural industry will become stronger and better.
She urged the partners to strengthen their communication to create a new level of excellence in agricultural development.
