Qingyan Ancient Town recognized for its night tour

Qingyan Ancient Town in Huaxi district of Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was recently included on the lists of the top 10 upgraded model scenic spots and the top 10 night tour landmarks in the province.

The announcement was released at the 2020 selection of Guizhou cultural tourism brands event, which was held on Oct 28.

As a 5A-level national tourist attraction, Qingyan Ancient Town has a history of over 600 years.

The scenic area is regarded by many as perfect -- in terms of aesthetics, facilities and management -- making it an ideal tourist calling card for Guiyang.

Qingyan Ancient Town has actively responded to government policy calls to help upgrade the night economy and encouraged street businesses to extend their business hours.

Since the appearance of its night experience event with the theme on Aug 1, the ancient town has filled a gap in night tour activities, attracting many locals and tourists.
