Guiyang science and technology week on now in Huaxi district

The 2020 science and technology week was launched at Guiyang Ecological Science Museum in Huaxi district, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 23, and will last until Aug 29.

With a focus on the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic, Guiyang Ecological Science Museum will reflect on the importance of science and technology in disease prevention and control measures. The museum will also cover clean water security, garbage classification and other public interest areas during the week-long event.

The event will explain and popularize scientific epidemic prevention knowledge through the digital sand table, multimedia exhibition hall and panoramic virtual reality viewing.

During science and technology week, the hours of operation for Guiyang Ecological Science Museum are 10 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm from Tuesday to Sunday.

Residents and tourists who intend to visit can make an appointment by telephone (+86 18085120450), the museum's official WeChat account (贵阳生态科普馆) or on-site.

To enter the museum, visitors must make an appointment in advance and present a valid identification certificate. All guests must wear a mask, scan the health code and submit to a temperature check.
