Embroidery skills help poverty alleviation efforts in Huaxi district

On July 31, Qingxi sub-district of Huaxi district in Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, organized an embroidery skills training course for relocated women in Longjing village. The seminar was part of the local government's poverty alleviation efforts.

At the embroidery workshop by Guizhou Miaoshou Chuanqing Cultural Development Co, the instructor patiently answered questions about the embroidery process, commented on the students' embroidery work and encouraged them to increase their incomes.

Relocated women at the training course showed an earnest commitment to learning embroidery skills. It is hoped the attendees will encourage more women in the community to join the embroidery training – helping to realize local poverty alleviation goals.
