Qingyan Ancient Town to build smart scenic spot

The Huaxi district branch of China Mobile Guizhou Company is accelerating the construction of the 5G network in Qingyan Ancient Town, Huaxi district, Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

At present, construction has been completed on 26 5G base stations in Qingyan Ancient Town, a national 5A-level tourist attraction.

"We will use 5G technology to comprehensively enhance the smart tourism system to bring tourists a more convenient, fast and smart experience," said Yang Yongyuan, director of the marketing department of Guiyang Qingyan Ancient Town Scenic Spot Management Co.

Next, the district will deliver smart tour guide services, electronic explanations and online bookings in scenic spots such as Qingyan Ancient Town, Tianhetan Scenic Area and Raorao village, through 5G technologies, virtual or augmented reality, ultra-high-definition video and intelligent analysis.

In addition, video surveillance, traffic monitoring, location monitoring and environmental monitoring will be implemented in areas where people flow is concentrated, so as to improve the travel service and management level.
