"The studio focuses on tea processing, planting, evaluation, and arts, in order to train highly-skilled and high-quality professional and technical personnel," said Mou Chunlin, the leader of the studio. "It will also organize in-depth research on new tea products and the mechanization and standardization of the tea industry."

In recent years, Guizhou has listed the tea industry as an important sector for training skilled workers.

The establishment of the studio is of great significance for improving the scientific and technological level, influence and soft power of the tea industry in the province.
