Guiyang Huaxi Country Garden International School is a fully-boarding international school that officially launched its kindergarten in 2014 and that of its primary and secondary schools on Sept 1, 2015. Covering an area of 80 mu (about 666.67 sq m.) with overall floorage of 53,000 square meters, the school is situated in Huaxi District, a "natural oxygen bar" with scenic beauty and convenient transport. 

It boasts advanced teaching and living facilities, including a swimming pool, a standard playground, a gymnasium, library, academic report hall, science laboratory, and multi-function classroom. All classrooms are equipped with advanced digital equipment such as electronic interactive whiteboards, computers, televisions, and digital broadcasting. 

At the moment, there are nearly 700 students in the school taught by a strong teaching staff. On the basis of guaranteeing the nine-year compulsory education, the school introduces the educational concept of the IB (International Baccalaureate, formerly known as the International Baccalaureate Organization) and international curriculums of CIE, and actively carries out interdisciplinary theme activities to help students grow into global elites with "a Chinese soul and an international complex". The school in its first three years has been a member of the "CIE Board" (accreditation code CN248), "IB PYP Membership", "Cambridge English School", leading China's southwest international education.
