Guizhou, Huawei work together to develop AI

The Guizhou Provincial Department of Big Data Development and Management and Huawei Cloud signed a cooperation agreement on the "Guizhou artificial intelligence (AI) Ascend Cloud adaptation framework" on Sept 20 in Shanghai.

Based on the Ascend Cloud computing power services, the agreement aims to attract AI companies nationwide to adapt their products to Ascend Cloud, thereby supporting the development of the AI industry.

According to the agreement, Guizhou will provide Ascend Cloud adaptation policies to innovative AI technology companies nationwide, while Huawei Cloud will offer Ascend Cloud adaptation technology, business support, and services to help companies with domestic computing power adaptation.

Huawei Cloud will accelerate the implementation of key adaptation projects with leading and demonstrative roles through the Guizhou Ascend Cloud Adaptation Center.

This will gradually establish a new model for the development of China's AI industry and help Guizhou become a hub for domestic AI computing power.

In recent years, Guizhou has seized opportunities to accelerate the development of the digital economy, develop into a national computing power hub, promote digital empowerment, and create distinctive digital industry clusters.

It aims to create an industrial and business environment that will help companies deepen their development in the province. In the future, Huawei Cloud will continue to support the advancement of digital and AI-related work in Guizhou and contribute to the high-quality development of the province's digital economy.
