The national science and technology enterprise incubator is one of ten benchmark incubators created by the Guizhou National High-tech Industrial Development Zone. It is a core part of the Guizhou Science City, located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.
In May 2023, it was approved as a national-level science and technology enterprise incubator. So far, it has incubated 49 enterprises, attracted 92 R&D institutions and technology enterprises, and brought together over 1,900 research personnel in various fields. This has resulted in 3,348 scientific and technological achievements and the commercialization of over 100 accomplishments.
This year, the incubator has innovated its approach to talent recruitment, focusing on attracting graduates, teams, scientific and technological achievements, projects, and resources from key universities nationwide.
It continues to optimize the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, providing strong support for high-quality early-stage technology-based startups and accelerating the cultivation and development of new quality productive forces.
The incubator provides rent reduction, entrepreneurship guidance, investment and financing support, and market promotion services.
The incubator also provides financial support ranging from 100,000 yuan ($14,037) to 200,000 yuan for each eligible project, using financial funds and fully embracing the combination of fiscal and special funds incentivizes social capital to follow up with investments.
