The event attracted numerous domestic agricultural experts, scholars, entrepreneurs, and policymakers. They explored how to empower the entire agricultural industrial chain through digitization, promoting innovative applications and the value realization of data elements in various agricultural fields.
The event not only provided a platform for experts and entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector to exchange ideas and collaborate but also laid a solid foundation for further advancing digital economic development and strengthening cross-sector cooperation.
Guizhou Agricultural Investment Group, one of the organizers of the event, showcased cutting-edge technological achievements made in the agricultural sector. Through digital empowerment, it implemented a "base + wholesale + retail" integrated model to ensure supply stability and price control, benefiting 144 industrial projects across 35 counties in Guizhou. In 2023, this initiative helped 1.11 million farmers increase their collective income by 4.74 billion yuan ($666.76 million).
These accomplishments were made possible by the deep integration and application of advanced technologies such as big data, cloud computing, internet of things and artificial intelligence in the agricultural sector.
Moving forward, with the integration of more intelligent technologies, agriculture will play an increasingly vital role in economic growth. From seed breeding and cultivation management to harvesting, processing, and sales services, each stage will undergo digitization and intelligent management, enhancing the transparency and efficiency of the entire industrial chain.
